My name is Richard Moss Laskey, III. I’m an American, and I like to write about a whole lot of different topics.
I work with computers, currently as a “Systems Analyst.” Recently, my focus has been on web and database development, though I’ve had my hands in all different aspects of systems, from hardware to server infrastructure and all sorts of software and operating systems in between.
I avidly follow technology, and I’m interested in the way that it is currently changing the way that we live and interact with each other.

I personally really like Google Reader to manage RSS feeds, though there are many other options, including browser bookmarks. You can also subscribe to my aggregate feed, which contains links to both content here and to various links on the Internet that I find interesting/worth sharing.
Music
I’ve been experimenting with sound and music for a number of years now. My musical alias is Ext83, and you can find my official page at rlaskey.org/ext83/, also linked above. I primarily create electronic music, though I’ve previously done some noise work as well.

I take a lot of photographs. I haven’t sold many prints, though I would really like to sell you one if you are at all interested. You can contact me via one of the methods below. Unless you work out something with me first, however, the images are copyrighted and may not be used for any purpose.
